Soda Cans

Soda... everyone drinks soda... correct? Well, the average household family in America drinks about 73 gallons of it! Do the math.... thats 73 gallons divided by 12 ounces... over 700 cans of soda! And guess what... a soda can that is thrown away today, will still be a soda can for over 500 years!!!

So why should you recycle soda cans?

-it takes over 500 years for one soda can to start composting...
-recycling one soda can saves enough energy to run a TV for three hours -- or the equivalent of a half gallon of gasoline...
-and a 60-watt light bulb can be run for over a day on the amount of energy saved by recycling one pound of steel -- if we all recycled soda cans we would have saved enough energy to heat and light 18,000,000 homes!

So go get a bag... and put all your cans it it to recycle them!
